H2Oil H2Oil is a feature-length documentary that follows the trail of the Athabasca River, tracing the lives of people as they seek solutions to the wavering balance between the global demand for oil and the urgent need to protect fresh water resources.

2-5 barrels of fresh water are used to produce one barrel of oil. Tar sands operations are draining the Peace-Athabasca Delta, which is the collector of more than 1/6 of Canada's fresh watersheds.

Climate Action Camp in Quebec

This summer a Climate Action Camp will take place Dunham (an hour southeast of Montreal) from August 7th-23rd, with the dates of August 18-22 set as “Convergence Days” of workshops and actions. The camp promises to be a really concrete way to build on the actions and reflections taking part across the continent. Please join us there!
